Elkton Bank & Trust Co. is proud to offer the convenience of Mobile Deposit to its customers. Unfortunately, due to the increased amount of fraud in our society, customers will need to meet certain criteria to qualify for this service.
- Must have an active checking account; savings accounts will not qualify for this service.
- All new accounts maintain a good standing with the bank for six calendar months before becoming eligible for this program.
- No more than two NSF charges within the six months prior to service sign-up.
- Customers with past charge-off accounts will not qualify for this program.
If at any time Elkton Bank & Trust Co. feels like this application is being abused or used for malintent, Elkton Bank & Trust Co. reserves the right to revoke access to this service.
Transaction Limitations & Controls
Deposits made through Mobile Deposit Capture will be limited to less than or equal to $2,50 per day. Checks that exceed $2,500 will not be accepted through Mobile Deposit. If a customer
has a check greater than $2,500, they will need to either mail the check in for processing or visit a branch location.
All deposits made via Mobile Deposit Capture will be available the following business day. Weekends & Federal Holidays are not considered business days. For any deposits made on nonbusiness days, we will consider those deposits made on the following business day. Information to customers concerning our mobile deposit capture services will be available on our mobile deposit application on smartphones and on our website www.elktonbankandtrust.com.
